In short
BT Business Broadband prices depend on the access type and speed available at your address, the plan (Essential, Enhanced, Pro or Ultra), add-ons such as Hybrid Backup or a static IP, the contract length, any installation work and whether you bundle a Digital Line. BT's offers are time-limited, so we confirm prices at quote.

Why we do not publish a price list
BT's business broadband prices change more often than most people expect. BT runs offers on selected plans and speeds for set periods, applies an annual price change each April under its pricing terms, and prices each order for the specific address. A price list on this site would be out of date quickly, and a price for the wrong access type is no help at all.
So we do it the other way round: we check your address, work out which plans and speeds you can have, and give you a written quote with every monthly and one-off charge set out. Ask us for a quote and you will see the real numbers for your premises.
The seven things that set your price
Every BT Business Broadband quote is built from the same parts:
- Access type at your address. Full Fibre, Standard Fibre or copper. You cannot choose a type your address does not have, so this is the first thing we check. See checking availability.
- Speed tier. Full Fibre comes in tiers from 100Mbps to 900Mbps, with Gigabit plans at some addresses, and Standard Fibre in 38 and 76. Faster tiers cost more, so it pays to size it properly. See what broadband speed does my business need.
- Plan. Essential, Enhanced, Pro or Ultra. Each tier adds equipment and features, and the price rises with it.
- Add-ons. Hybrid Backup, a static IP, Complete Wi-Fi or Complete Wi-Fi Plus, Prompt Care, Expert Setup and Endpoint Threat Protect, where they are not already included in your plan.
- Contract length. BT prices plans by minimum term. Ultra is sold on 36- or 60-month terms, BT's order pages show 24- and 36-month terms on many other plans, and the term for your order is confirmed at quote. See BT Business Broadband contracts.
- Installation and one-off charges. Hub delivery, connection and any engineer work. On Full Fibre, BT says extra construction charges apply only in exceptional cases and are notified before work starts.
- Bundles. Adding a BT Digital Line changes the monthly price and the annual price change that applies.
Access type and speed
Speed is often the biggest single driver, and it is also where businesses overspend most. A small office running cloud email, accounts software and a few video calls may not need a 900Mbps line; a design studio uploading large files all day may find Standard Fibre's upload speed the real limit.
| Access type | BT speed tiers | Upload |
|---|---|---|
| Copper (SoADSL) | Up to 17Mbps | Lower than download |
| Standard Fibre (SOGEA) | 38 and 76 | Up to 19Mbps on 76 |
| Full Fibre (FTTP) | 100, 150, 300, 500 and 900 | Up to 104Mbps on 900 |
BT also shows Full Fibre Gigabit and 1.6 Gigabit plans at some addresses; whether they are available at yours, and through us, is confirmed at quote. The speed BT quotes for your address is an estimate based on business peak time, and BT also gives you a minimum guaranteed download speed before your service starts. See BT Business Broadband speeds.

Plans and add-ons: paying for what you use
Moving up a plan bundles several features together. Adding a single feature to a lower plan can sometimes do the same job for less. Some examples worth pricing both ways:
- You only want backup and a fixed IP. Compare Essential plus Hybrid Backup and a static IP with Enhanced, which includes both.
- You want faster fixes but your Wi-Fi is fine. Prompt Care can be added to Essential or Enhanced without moving to Pro.
- Your Wi-Fi does not reach the back office. Complete Wi-Fi can be added to the lower plans, while Pro includes Complete Wi-Fi Plus with Smart Hub 3.
- You want security you do not have to manage. Compare Pro's Wi-Fi Security Controls with Ultra's Cisco Meraki package.
We will tell you honestly when an add-on is enough and when the bigger plan is better value.
Contract length and annual price changes
BT sets prices by minimum term. Longer terms usually suit businesses that are settled in their premises; a business that might move or grow quickly may prefer a shorter term, where available.
BT's pricing terms include an annual price change that takes effect each 1 April, and BT states the amount upfront in pounds and pence for the plan you order. We show how it applies in your quote so the cost over the whole term is clear. At the end of the minimum term, any offer pricing ends and BT's standard price applies, which is a good moment to review your plan. See BT Business Broadband contracts.

BT Business Broadband deals and offers
BT regularly runs offers on selected plans, speeds and contract lengths, often for new customers only and for a fixed period. Offers change, they have their own terms, and they may not apply to every address or every route to market.
That is why we do not quote offers on this site. When you ask us for a quote, we confirm which offers, if any, apply to your order at that point, and we set out what the price becomes once an offer ends. If you see a BT offer you like, mention it when you contact us and we will check whether it applies to your order.
Where spending a little more can cost less
The cheapest plan is not necessarily the lowest-cost choice over a contract term. A few things are worth weighing against the monthly price:
- A day offline. If a line fault would stop you taking payments, answering calls or reaching cloud systems, the cost of one lost day can be more than the difference between plans. Automatic 4G backup and faster fault fixing are the features that reduce it.
- Wi-Fi that does not reach. Dead spots cost time every day, and fixing them later with your own equipment can mean extra kit and set-up work. Pro includes Complete Wi-Fi Plus with BT's coverage guarantee for the main building.
- Remote access that breaks. If staff or suppliers connect in from outside, a static IP set up from day one avoids reconfiguring systems later.
- Security you would otherwise buy separately. Wi-Fi Security Controls on Pro, or the Cisco Meraki package on Ultra, may replace tools you would otherwise pay for and manage yourself.
- Speed you will not use. Equally, a 900Mbps line for a three-person office running cloud email may be money better spent on backup or Wi-Fi.
We will show you both sides so you can decide where the money does most for your business.
How we prepare your quote
Our quotes follow the same steps every time, so nothing is left to the small print:
- We check the access type, speed range and installation route at your address.
- We agree what the connection needs to do: users, devices, calls, remote access, Wi-Fi coverage and how much downtime you can live with.
- We recommend a plan and any add-ons, and price an alternative where two routes are close.
- We set out monthly charges, one-off charges, the minimum term, how the annual price change applies and what happens when any offer ends.
- We note anything that needs planning before installation, such as alarms or card machines on an old line, static IP changes or landlord permission.
Comparing quotes like for like
When you compare BT Business Broadband quotes, or compare a BT quote with what you pay today, check that you are comparing the same things:
- The same access type and speed tier at the same address
- The same plan, or the same features added to a lower plan
- Whether 4G backup, a static IP, Wi-Fi coverage and faster fault fixing are included
- The minimum term, and the price after any offer period ends
- How the annual price change applies over the term
- One-off charges: hub delivery, connection, engineer visits and any extra construction work
- Whether calls are included, through a Digital Line bundle or separately
- What leaving your current provider early would cost
Contact us with your postcode and what you need, and we will put it all in one clear quote.

Frequently asked questions
How much is BT Business Broadband?
It depends on what your address can get, the plan and speed you choose, add-ons, the contract length and installation, and BT's offers change through the year. We do not publish prices on this site; ask us for a quote and we will set out every charge.
Are there installation charges for BT Business Broadband?
There can be one-off charges for hub delivery, connection and engineer work, depending on your address and BT's current offers. On Full Fibre, BT says extra construction charges apply only in exceptional cases and are notified before work starts. Your quote shows them. See installation.
Does BT Business Broadband go up in price every year?
BT's pricing terms include an annual price change each 1 April, and BT states the amount upfront for the plan you order. We show how it applies over your term in your quote. See contracts.
Do BT Business Broadband offers apply if I buy through Forever Communications?
Offers are set by BT, are time-limited and have their own terms. We confirm which offers apply to your order when we quote.
Is it cheaper to add features or move up a plan?
It depends on which features you need. Adding Hybrid Backup or a static IP to Essential can sometimes cost less than Enhanced, while Pro bundles several features together. We price both routes for you.
