In short
Forever Communications is an Authorised Supplier for BT and part of Forever Group. We help businesses buy BT Business Broadband: checking the access type at your address, recommending a plan and add-ons, preparing a clear quote, placing the order, liaising on installation dates, answering Wi-Fi and security set-up questions, and planning the digital switchover.

Who we are
We supply BT Business Broadband, BT Cloud Voice and BTnet leased lines to businesses and other organisations. We are part of Forever Group, which also covers business connectivity, telephony, IT and cyber security.
This site is ours, not BT's. Everything we describe is BT's service, delivered under BT's terms. Our part is helping you choose it, order it and get the most from it, with one supplier that can look at the whole picture: broadband, phones, Wi-Fi and security together.
When you buy through us you get BT Business Broadband plans, BT equipment and BT's own service commitments, such as BT's minimum speed guarantee and Prompt Care where your plan includes it. What you add is someone on your side of the table.
What we do for you
From the first question to life after go-live, here is where we help:
- Listen first. What the connection is for, how many people and devices rely on it, which cloud services and phone system you use, and what happens to the business if it goes down for a day.
- Check your address. We find out whether your premises has Full Fibre, Standard Fibre or copper, the speed range BT expects and whether an engineer visit is needed. See checking BT Business Broadband availability.
- Recommend a plan and add-ons. Essential, Enhanced, Pro or Ultra, and whether add-ons such as Hybrid Backup, a static IP or Complete Wi-Fi Plus are worth it for you. We explain the trade-offs rather than pushing the biggest plan.
- Prepare a clear quote. Monthly charges, one-off charges, the minimum term and how BT's annual price change works, set out in writing so you can compare like for like. See what affects the price.
- Place the order. We submit it and pass on BT's dates and updates.
- Help with installation. We help you prepare: power near the master socket, landlord permission, access for the engineer and someone on site to make decisions. See BT Business Broadband installation.
- Answer set-up questions. Switching on guest Wi-Fi, Content Controls and Web Threat Protect, getting the most from Wi-Fi Security Controls on Pro, or using your own router.
- Plan the digital switchover. We help you list the devices that still rely on an old phone line, such as alarms, card machines and lifts, and plan what moves where. See the PSTN switch-off and your broadband.
- Add calls if you want them. A BT Digital Line bundled with broadband for a very small team, or multi-user BT Cloud Voice for larger ones.
Who does what
It helps to be clear from the start about who looks after each part of your BT Business Broadband:
| Task | Who |
|---|---|
| Understanding your needs and recommending a plan | Forever Communications |
| Availability check, quote and order | Forever Communications, using BT's systems |
| Minimum guaranteed speed for your address | BT, given before your service starts |
| Line installation and any external work | BT, with Openreach for the network work |
| Hub, Hybrid Connect device and Wi-Fi discs | BT supplies them; you or a BT engineer set them up |
| Expert Setup visits | BT engineers, where your plan or order includes one |
| Fault reporting and fixing | BT, under Standard Care or Prompt Care |
| Your own network, devices and third-party equipment | You or your IT provider |
| Plan changes, add-ons, moves and re-contracting | We help you choose and order them |
We do not set BT's installation dates, fault-fix targets or compensation, and we do not make promises on BT's behalf. What we can do is make sure you know what to expect at each stage and what is needed from you, so fewer things come as a surprise.

Getting the detail right before you order
Most broadband problems that cost businesses time are decided before the order is placed. These are the things we check with you:
- The real access type at the address, and whether a Full Fibre install needs an engineer or external work first.
- What is still running on your old line. Alarms, card machines, lifts, franking machines, fax, door entry and care pendants can depend on a traditional phone line, which BT no longer sells.
- Static IP addresses. Existing static IPs cannot be moved from another provider, so remote access, VPNs and cameras may need new settings. BT's Ultra plan does not support static IPs.
- Your current contract. When it ends, and whether leaving early would mean charges from your current provider.
- Your building. Several floors, thick walls or outbuildings affect which Wi-Fi option makes sense, and the Complete Wi-Fi Plus coverage guarantee covers the main building only.
- Your phone system. If calls run over the internet, the connection, router settings and backup all matter. See broadband for VoIP.
If you already know some of this, great. If not, contact us and we will work through it with you.
Advice sized to your business
We would rather you bought the plan that fits than the biggest one. In practice that means:
- We ask what a day offline would cost before suggesting backup or faster fault fixing, and we tell you when Essential is enough.
- We price the add-on route as well as the next plan up, because Essential with Hybrid Backup and a static IP can suit some offices better than Enhanced, and Prompt Care can be added without moving to Pro.
- We are clear about what a plan will not do. Wi-Fi Security Controls filters websites, not apps. Ultra does not support static IPs and is not a proactively monitored service. BT's Complete Wi-Fi Plus guarantee covers the main building, not outbuildings.
- We say when broadband is not the answer. If your business needs the same upload and download speed or dedicated bandwidth, we will talk about a leased line instead.
That honesty up front is what keeps the conversation useful when you come back to change, move or re-contract.
Is BT Business Broadband the right fit for you?
We will check it against your systems and requirements and recommend the right option.
One supplier for broadband and calls
Broadband and phones are now the same decision. With the traditional phone network closing, your calls will run over your internet connection, so it makes sense to plan them together.
We can bundle a BT Digital Line with Essential, Enhanced or Pro broadband for very small businesses that want a number on a desk phone or an app; read BT Business Broadband and Phone and our sister site's guide to BT Cloud Voice Express. For teams that need call routing, queues and apps, we supply BT Cloud Voice. Ultra is a broadband-only plan, so calls are ordered separately.
When the connection becomes the most important thing in the building, we can also talk about a BTnet leased line. Our guide on when to upgrade from broadband to a leased line explains the signs.
After you are connected
Your needs change after go-live, and we can help with the questions that come with that:
- Changing plan or speed, for example moving to Pro for Wi-Fi coverage or to Ultra for managed security. See upgrading your BT Business Broadband.
- Adding resilience, such as Hybrid Backup or Prompt Care, if downtime has become more expensive.
- Moving premises, where an early start makes all the difference. See moving premises with BT Business Broadband.
- Understanding a fault, how BT's fault-fix levels and compensation scheme work, and what to report. BT fixes faults on its service; we help you make sense of the process. See BT Business Broadband support.
- Re-contracting when your minimum term ends, so you move to a plan that still fits rather than rolling on by default. See BT Business Broadband contracts.

Frequently asked questions
Is Forever Communications the same company as BT?
No. Forever Communications is part of Forever Group and is an Authorised Supplier for BT. We supply BT Business Broadband under BT's terms, and this site is ours, not BT's.
Is buying through Forever Communications different from buying direct from BT?
You get BT's plans, equipment and service commitments either way, and prices and any offers are confirmed at quote. Buying through us adds help choosing the right plan and add-ons, a clear quote, someone to liaise on the order and installation, and joined-up advice on calls, Wi-Fi and security.
Who fixes faults if I buy through you?
BT fixes faults on its broadband service under your plan's care level: Standard Care on Essential and Enhanced, Prompt Care on Pro and Ultra. We can help you understand the process and what to report. See BT Business Broadband support.
Can you supply BT Cloud Voice with the broadband?
Yes. We supply BT Cloud Voice for teams, and a BT Digital Line can be bundled with Essential, Enhanced and Pro broadband for very small businesses. Ultra is broadband only, so calls are ordered separately.
Can you help if I already have BT Business Broadband?
Yes. We can help you upgrade, add Hybrid Backup, a static IP or Complete Wi-Fi Plus, move premises or re-contract at the end of your term. See upgrading your BT Business Broadband.
